This Tacamo Titan Survival power bank is great! With a 10,000mAh, it can charge my phone multiple times and still have juice left. Plus, solar charging is a nice backup perfect for camping or for those who forgot to charge their phone. It can charge up to 2 phones and other electronic devices. Recharge it via an adapter or solar panel, eliminating worries about running out of power. Waterproof rating, built-in compass, flashlight that is super bright, I’m covered if I need to find my way in the dark. Fast charging, tough build, compass, and a handy flashlight all in one.
As a heavy skeptic, I can honestly say this charger works. Depending on the light source, charging can be slow to fast, but it beats a dead phone, or other, battery. Used it multiple times outside at all day events where no charge source was available and it maintained my battery. The overload feature kicked in a few times with no damage, too. Wish the spring clip and split ring were beefier, and that it came with a storage pouch, but otherwise a nice product.

I now have three of these power banks, one for my son and two for my use. I've recharged my phone a few times from the first one I bought and so far, so good. I like the included flashlight as part of the overall unit, but that would not be my primary use for them. I can't comment on the solar charging capability yet; but that option was one of the reasons I bought these. I do have to admit that the case does not feel as "solid" as I hoped; but they haven't seen hard use yet, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

Did not charge in the sun tried multiple times but when charged it has a decent battery life

When charging the power bank via Solar, the unit will only charge to 17% (the 1st LED) to prevent overheating caused by direct sunlight. At 17%, the solar charging circuit inside opens up to prevent overheating from occurring, and this is a built-in electronic protection that cannot be overridden. However, the unit will still charge your phone if it is connected via the USB charging port…The solar power bank itself just won't go over 17% via sunlight. That circuit basically turns on, then off, then on, then off…etc. Maintaining 17%. The small green LED on the front of the solar power bank signifies "Active Solar Charging", maintaining that 17%.
If you are charging the solar power bank via a wall socket and the included USB charging cable, it will charge all the way up.
